About the Project

INTERFRAME is a Network of Towns initiative that brings together municipalities and civil society actors from EU Member States and Western Balkan countries to turn diversity into everyday civic practice. The partnership works with local authorities and communities to strengthen inclusion, intercultural dialogue, and participatory democracy, combining citizen-driven activities with policy reflection and shared municipal commitments.

Across its work packages, INTERFRAME connects local realities with European values by creating spaces where citizens, especially people experiencing exclusion, can meet, exchange experiences, co-create ideas for inclusive public life, and translate them into practical local actions and long-term cooperation between towns.

Our Mission

INTERFRAME’s mission is to make inclusion visible and workable at local level, by strengthening citizen participation, supporting municipalities in inclusive governance, and building intercultural understanding through both offline and digital formats. The project’s approach is horizontal and participatory, anchored in transparency and shared responsibilities across partners, and designed to produce outcomes that municipalities can reuse beyond the project lifecycle.
